WildAid’s mission is to end the trade in endangered species by creating high-quality advertising campaigns that reduce the demand for products such as ivory and rhino horn. WildAid leverages a $12M expense budget to obtain over $200M in donated media for campaigns across Asia and Africa. As COO, I was responsible for all non-programmatic operations, including development, finance, human resources, information technology, board management and the China subsidiary. I supported the founder / CEO by managing a staff of ~50 and acting as the primary interface with the board of directors. I led board recruiting as the board grew from 15 to 22 members. During my tenure, individual giving increased from $3.5M to $6M, including doubling revenue from the annual gala. In 2018, I led the board and management team through development of a three-year strategic plan. I also acted as CFO, overseeing budgeting, financial management and financial reporting.

Recruited onto board to lead a global search for a new head of school. Led a seven month search process which concluded in the successful hire of our first-choice candidate. Also served on the Finance Committee.

As a result of turnaround, Locaid established a market leadership position in “location as a service” and merged with its primary competitor in 2015.

As COO, I managed a global team of over 300 in engineering, operations, software development (onshore and offshore), and analytics. During my tenure, Telephia grew from a startup to profitability and $90 million in revenue, and I helped lead the sale of the company to The Nielsen Company for $440 million in 2007.
