Have developed many switch-mode power supplies: 1W-50KW, high efficient (over 98%), high-voltage & current (to 45KV,10KA), Ballast-less & Super Pulse, Liquid-cooled and air-cooled power supplies for laser-diode, CO2, Yag, Capacitor Charging, and various other laser applications. The switching topologies we use most are mostly resonant type, which are zero-current and zero-voltage with PFM modulations. Have developed many gas discharge power supplies/Vcsel drivers for defense & laboratory applications: High speed (100pico-7nano-seconds rise time), high peak current (to 10KA), high voltage (to 15KV), high frequency (to 1MHz). We use a combination of MPC (magnet pulse compression) and high power/high speed semiconductor switches.
