This includes: design documents, configuration templates, network diagrams, test plans, inventory and project timeline. • Develop portfolio for centralized managed network services • Develop migration plan for existing in-country networks to be centralized/offshore to KL for ongoing operation support. • Validate all financial metrics i.e. billing and costing. • Manage APAC CNS team financial forecasting.
• Managing Global Network Operations Center consists of Level 1, 2 & 3 experienced Engineers & Operations Leaders specializing in Network Operations & Engineering, Incident/Problem/Change/Release Management & Network Life Cycle Management in the delivery of network management services for 200+ unique accounts world wide and 30,000 network devices. • Responsible for the day-to-day delivery of the respective task - Establish reporting, escalation, and resolution process for the Incident/Problem/Change/Release & Lifecycle Management according to the ITIL process. • Escalation point for Global Network Operations High Impacted Sev1 or Sev2 Incidents during the KL business hours. • Participating in the Global Network Operations weekly/monthly conference call meetings with the Global Leaders in US/Costa Rica. • Identify future capability/capacity needs: Stay current with practice-specific solutions, resource requirements and staffing options as these impact delivery capabilities • Ensure a proper Business Continual Plan (BCP) is in place and up-to-date for the team. • Working closely with Global Network Operations Center Leaders, Business Leaders & Capability Leaders to ensure that all Tasks/Assignments are met and following the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
• Primarily responsible to provide technical leadership to Global Network Operations Center (GNOC) team. • Apply specialized knowledge in network infrastructure to conceptualize, design, construct, test, implement and optimize network infrastructure that support business and/or engineering/manufacturing functions. • Change management – work on approved changes for clients. • Problem manangement – handle 2nd /3rd level technical cases and provides root cause analysis.
• Primarily responsible for Network Design, installation, configuration & support of network devices on JARING nationwide (more than 75 POP's ) ISP network. • Network engineering team lead for the ongoing broadband Internet access project rollout by using wireless and xDSL technology. • Evaluate, plan and responsible for the acceptance and operation of network components and security. • Established strong customer relations and provided expertise when consulted. • Dealing with telecommunication provider and contractors such as Telekom Malaysia, Time Telekom, Maxis, Digi, Fibercomm, & etc • Working closely with Network Operations Center, Business Leaders & Senior Management team to ensure that all Tasks/Assignments are met and following the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
