My master thesis at BorgWarner focused on assessing different investments for production optimization to enable a pull production system. The aim was to reduce the inventory level of semi-finished goods in a production with capacity constraints.
During my summer internship as freight coordinator I was responsible for all outbound shipping of finished goods and spare parts. The job also included being production planner where I was responsible of the production flow in the business system ERP-LN.
A program for female engineering students with focus on sustainable development. The experience gave me an unique insight of how an engineering company works with production, R\&D, markets and environmental activities.
Summer job in the manufacturing of packaging materials. The work at the shopfloor gave me practical understanding of the production process, an experience I highly value for my future career.
