Direct the overall portfolio structure for: • $6+ billion fixed income portfolio including assessing the portfolio’s interest rate exposures, yield curve positioning, credit quality, call risk, and new product research • $3+ billion global public and private equity portfolios • $3+ private and public corporate bonds/loans, private and public real estate, hedge fund and alternative beta (risk premia) strategies • $3+ billion short term cash portfolio Optimization of the total portfolio through the use of cash and synthetic instruments Researching and implementing tactical allocations to add value on an absolute and relative basis Selection and monitoring of external investment managers in both liquid and illiquid strategies Supervision and training of staff Prior position portfolio management and trading responsibilities: • $2 billion core fixed income, high yield, and credit opportunities portfolios • $700 million treasury inflation protection security portfolio • $2 billion short term liquidity portfolio • $100 million treasury security portfolio • $100 million common stock portfolio • Foreign exchange trading Develop the overall structure of the fixed income portfolio including assessing the portfolio’s interest rate exposures, yield curve positioning, credit quality, call risk, and new product research.
