• Leading the Vendor Development team for RA (Room Air Conditioners), Cassette Air Conditioners, VRV (Variable Refrigerant Volume) & Chillers • Leading the Vendor Development activities for complete RA (Room Air Conditioners) out sourcing with third party manufacturers • Supervising procurement, development and cost settlement of products such as Sheet Metal, Injection Moulding, EPS, Copper Tubes, Brazed parts & packaging etc. • Formulating budgets, monitoring & controlling budget for procurement and managing project cash flow requirement • Formulating Monthly Procurement MIS of cost down and reporting to Top Management about month on month progress and road map for future. •  Performing vendor rating analysis and sharing technical inputs with vendors and ensuring process optimization for improvement of quality and productivity at vendor’s end •   Leading vendor audits including commercial assessment, risk assessment & process audit •   Managing local as well as imported suppliers across the Globe and dealing with Global counterparts for new development of tooling. •   Supporting SQE activities like part approval process through PPAP & other quality control & vendor improvement activities •  Closely working on Cost reduction activities by implementing VA/VE techniques and conducting supplier annual negotiations.

* Spearheading centralized (Corporate) purchase (Direct & Indirect) and vendor development for Air conditioner parts * Administering cost validation, cost synchronization and other PO terms monitoring for all divisions * Formulating budgets, monitoring & controlling budget for procurement and managing project cash flow requirement * Drafting purchase policies and conducting price variation analysis; identifying key metal market price trends * Performing vendor rating analysis and sharing technical inputs with vendors and ensuring process optimization for improvement of quality and productivity at vendor’s end * Leading vendor audits including commercial assessment, risk assessment & process audit * Supervising procurement, development and cost settlement of complete products such as plastic, rubber, sheet metal & die casted parts * Executing SQE activities like part approval process through PPAP & other quality control & vendor improvement activities * Optimization of cost , Negotiation with vendors, Vendor Development * Heading team activities for purchase and vendor development; managed procurement, development and cost settlement of overall plant * Administered complete projects based on customer requirement, standards and strictly followed customer requirement for producing satisfactory & fruitful result for the organization * Led spares buying and development by team including Steel, Trailers BOPs, Electrical Items, and other parts those are required to manufacture an Air conditioner. * Participated in design & development of complete Air conditioner as per complete specification of OEM.

* Procurement of Refrigerator parts like copper parts, condenser & development of alternate sources. * Monitored developments of Heat Exchangers , Copper Parts, Sheet metal and Plastic components for new products as well as problematic existing components; * Leader from procurement for Moulding raw material planning for captive consumption and initiator for RM consolidation and activities for RM supply on Job work to vendors. * Forecasting of Raw material procurement as per monthly & quarterly plan * Sub-contracting activity with the help of SAP. * Alternate source development & localization of vendors * ISO documents preparation like vendor rating & vendor assessment. * Monitored inventory levels and planned for minimum inventory possible; generated various reports and tracked purchase activities
