- CAD: Make CAD and other drawings as required for the company products. - Inventory Control: Totally changed the stock report by making use of functions in excel that made it user-friendly with all the consumption history for back tracking. - Catalogue designing and printing: Designed a knowledge based catalog to explain different product ranges and various processes where these products are used. - Procurement - Revamped the landed cost calculating workbook on excel that involved different units of measurements, division of costs involved in importing goods based on their gross weight. - Importing goods from suppliers and different scenarios that arise time to time. Communicate between the suppliers, freight forwarders, drivers involved. - Find suppliers of production machinery parts like rivets, sewing machine parts, punching machine pins from China, explain them the specifications, dimensions and order the parts. - Order manufacturing accessories and modified products from local vendors. - ERP Implementation: acted as a liaison between my colleagues and ERP consultants regarding setting it up, learning how to work with it, solve the issues that occur from time to time and help them in getting the required reports from ERP. - Other Responsibilities: - Handle customer complaints and help sales in going to sites and work with customers to understand what is needed. - Calculate Workers’ monthly wages. - Outsource Production machinery repairs and maintenance. - Solve IT related problems in office. - Back up the data files on server, incrementally and completely. - Maintain facility. - Assist the General Manager on working for the potential projects. - Implement Inventory Management with Barcodes. - Run day to day operations smoothly. Devise SOPs for smooth operations.

- Order inquiry: I had to analyze the product, calculate the required quantity of the materials and accessory items per product, estimate and negotiate the cost of each item used in the product from vendors, freight costs and workable delivery dates and reply to the inquiry. - Approvals: I was responsible for getting approvals for accessories, materials, proto samples, pre-production samples and shipments approval from the customers. - Documentations: I had to generate order documents, issue purchase requisitions (PR) for each individual item that was required and issue work orders to the in-house departments for sampling and bulk productions. - Order execution: I had to keep following-up the in-house and outsourced productions on all ends to meet the sample submission and shipment delivery dates. - Planning: I had to plan and arrange the dispatches to the third parties for out-sourced operations to avoid and eliminate any bottlenecks that may appear depending upon the circumstances. - Record keeping: I had to keep record of order documents, the products and accessories that entered or exit the company premises, third-party payment documents, generate quarterly sales files. - Reconciliation: I had to reconcile with the third parties, arrange their payments, and make order reconciliation reports at the end of each order which was then audited by the internal audit department of the company.

- Sampling: I had to monitor the sampling quality, machines availability and timelines to ensure the timely deliveries by working alongside the marketing department. - Bulk Production: I had to analyze the required tasksfor making a particular garment and set the machine layout, keep the supplies of cut pieces, tools and accessories to the production floor smooth, monitor the regular and urgent machines maintenance and eliminating the bottlenecks. - Finishing: I had to monitor the finishing of the assigned orders and remove the actions that cause error in the products by discussing it with production, quality control and quality assurance departments. - Packing: I had to monitor the packing material issued and required packing method followed by the workers i.e.: number of garments per carton per style per color per size for the sake of customer defined SKUs.

- Maintain I.E practices: I had to maintain 5s on the floor, carryout work and motion studies for incoming orders, indicate the violation of the I.E. practices or SOPs on the cutting table, Investigate issues and report to the head of department. - Calculate efficiencies and wastages: I had to calculate the worker group efficiency, floor efficiency, marker efficiency, and calculate direct and indirect fabric wastages. - Smooth work flow: I carried out the daily trolley analysis to keep the work flow smooth on the floor, removed bottlenecks, kept pathways open and empty. - Daily meetings: I had to attend the daily meeting with the floor production manager and point out the violations and suggest ways to improve the work method.
