During my tenure at VCGP, I took various responsibilities in three projects in Vietnam sponsored by French Government: 1. Project for Wastewater Collection, Treatment and Drainage for Vung Tau City, Vietnam 2. Hoi An Environmental Project (Construction of Sewage Network, WWTP, Solid Treatment Plant for Hoi An City) 3. Water Drainage and Wastewater treatment Project of Thai Nguyen City In addition, he also assisted Project Manager to prepare various shop drawings for Jamaican Water Supply Improvement Project. Working as a representative of VCGP at Vung Tau office. Being in charge of (i) Technical supervision, (ii) Handing over of pipelines, accessories and equipment; (iii) Internal and external reports on progress and quality of project to Head office in Paris and Vietnam. (iv) Detecting technical issues occurring on-site and drawings and proposing solutions. (v) Collaborating with Consortium members (OTV - Veolia Water; Berim) and Clients to execute these projects.
Working in several projects including three big projects funded by the World Bank including : 1. National Urban Upgrading Project (NUUP) – Mekong Delta Region, Tra Vinh city’s subproject - Tra Vinh Province. 2. Drainage and Wastewater Treatment System Project for Thai Hoa town - Nghe An Province 3. Red River Delta Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Project – Subproject in Vinh Phuc and Phu Tho Provinces Serving as a vice-leader of NUUP Project Team in Tra Vinh and Project Engineer in other projects. Being in charge of various responsibilities including: i. Carrying out technical surveys on the existing infrastructure systems including: traffic road system, drinking water network, sewerage network, and sanitation status. ii. Preparing Feasibility Study report for project iii. Preparing of Basic Design and Technical Report for the all components of project. iv. Inspecting water resources on quantity and quality of the raw water. v. Planning and sizing pipes, equipment for the treatment train of drinking water and sanitation Preparing of Basic Design and Design Report and Preparation of options for decentralized water supply system, household sanitation and drainage.
