As owner of Wayne Smiley Design, I'm pleased to work one on one with all of my customers to ensure that they get as much time with me as they need to make their dream a reality. We go over possible formats, layouts, color schemes, SEO and marketing strategies within the website to ensure that they're reaching their target audience in a way that will be most effective. Then I design, develop, and maintain their investment and help them every step of the way. We mainly do small to medium size business websites but have also done a lot of Blogs, eCommerce, Informational, and Portfolio websites.

I create, develop, design, and implement changes to the different platforms and companies within Nui.Social. These include our CORE, REACH, and other platforms. The majority of my work is done with the Development team, but I also assist the Marketing team in fleshing out new designs for pages and other sections as needed.
I am in charge of designing and redesigning the different websites that fall under the company's umbrella (about 11 currently). On top of the actual design and coding of the sites I work closely with the director of marketing to implement SEO strategies and marketing campaigns. I'm also developing more IT skills in that I'm managing more aspects of the server, phone system, and other office equipment.
I speak with customers before the design gets start which allows me to analyze their business strategy and apply that to their website design. I also gather information as to what their preferences are in regards to formatting, color schemes, overall purpose of the website, fonts and other stylistic ideas, then I combine all of those into a fully functional website. In addition to speaking with the customers directly I manage their site personally from beginning to end, ensuring that there's no outsourcing or third party interfering with the progression of the website.
I taught people how to build websites using WordPress and Weebly. I also taught them how to use SEO tools. During my down time I taught myself how to code websites with HTML and CSS. I was able to improve upon my teaching skills during this time as well as learn quite a bit about Web Design and improve my own design skills.
I helped people manage their accounts, suggested products and services to them, and ensured that their billing was up to date. I also cross-trained with the Support Department to better understand how the technical side of websites and hosting companies operate.
