Working side to side with the CTO, and helping the company build a strong, reliable, fintech platform. Among my responsibilities, it's the design and development of the company's online accounting ledger to keep track of all transactions that occur in the platform. Also I'll be involved in the integration of a new payments and cards provider, and the preparation and cleanup needed to do so

Leading the engineering team for CloudIQ in Madrid, and helping the company to move forward from a startup into a more serious and consolidated engineering division that can hold up to the industry standards. My daily role is to work with the engineers (developers, devops, QAs) and help them set up a robust and resilient infrastructure that can scale and perform properly according to the company requirements. We have managed to set up a fully automated infrastructure in GCP with nodeJS that is able to handle ~150req/sec with peaks of ~300 req/sec, and with the capability of scaling up and down depending of the needs. This has allowed the company to scale its client base without needing to worry about what's underneath. Other responsibilities are: coordinating and helping other engineering teams across the company (London, Cardiff, USA, Sidney), building a testing culture across company, building a quality culture across company, defining standards, processes, and methodologies to coordinate the work remotely.

Full-stack Software Architect working in the BBVA Innovation Center, developing prototypes for the New Digital Business department. Focusing in the development of hybrid applications with Ionic and nodeJS. Technical responsible of developing a full-fledged banking infrastructure based on dockerized microservices that communicate through a RabbitMQ messaging queue and orchestrate using kubernetes, and expose externally using KONG API Manager. Integration and aggregation of external banking providers through queues and REST APIs. Builiding of a robust software communication infrastructure that supports banking transactions and is resilient. Also responsible of exploring the possibilities of IoT, Blockchain, and new technologies in the Fintech area.

Develop of my master thesis for EMSE master, in researching and developing of ways to improve, through the application of IoT platforms, the detection, treatment and analysis of Frailty in elderly population. By creating early detection tools through a data collection network based on IoT, will permit intervention to prevent or delay the onset of frailty, and also prevent further disability. My work here is to research, analyze, and categorize the current state of the art of elderly care, and assisted living, and from that help in the developing of a "sensor network" that will allow to monitorize and gather data from the patients, by creating a software platform that can receive data from multiple inputs, and then use it for decision support, estadistical studies, among other things
