Responsible for all Accounting, Costing, Reporting, FP&A, Tax, Risk Management, Cash Management, IT, ERP, and Legal matters. Partner with CEO/President to drive business strategy and shareholder value. • Immediate takeover of project management for distressed ERP implementation of EFI Radius; spearheaded go-live in first 100 days • Established profitability growth initiative - configured complex standard cost system; generated job order standard estimates for management review; conducted post-production review/analysis of margins by product line, inventory item, and customer; and led monthly reviews with production team regarding material, make-ready, run time, routing, and scrap variances • Discontinued least profitable product lines and related equipment, created customer tier classification system to assist decision-making, measured throughput and downtime, and identified specific areas for machine improvements • Drove operating cash flow improvements by decreasing inventory 26% in first eight months, targeted top 20 suppliers for better terms, drove DSO to 28 days and DPO to 45 days • Developed strong banking relationships with several entities, communicated action plans, led restructuring of financial agreements and loan covenants, and completed debt restructure/equipment purchase with loan, lease, and sale-leaseback via a commercial finance company and hedge fund • Led tax nexus review; completed VDAs in three states; eliminated future risks • Upgraded all existing insurance coverage; added cyber security and product recall • Co-managed with lead engineer the construction of a new 100K sq ft manufacturing plant to increase capacity and accommodate record growth • Initiated new process to capture and maximize R&D federal tax credits • Liaison with outside attorney when consultation is necessary
