In this role I am required to assist the buyer and assistant buyer, key responsibilities include: • Maintaining the department range plan • Managing samples • Creating and raising purchase orders • Creating 'best and worst' and trend boards for buyers meetings • Undertaking of a weekly competitor analysis • Dealing with any warehouse and product queries

During my time at Boohoo I was required to manage the running of the sample department, ensuring all samples entering the business were organised, logged and sent through to studio to be shot for the website efficiently. Other responsibilities included: • Maintaining the Boohoo Showroom • Collating and sending out daily figures to the exec team • Assisting the buying team with any administration work in busier periods

In this role I was responsible for keeping the shop floor tidy at all times and attending to all customer needs and wants providing them with great customer service. I developed the following skills within this retail environment: • Enhanced knowledge of the correct way to interact with a customer • Fantastic customer service skills
