Hired and built out the traffic and merchandising teams to launch Amazon.sg while managing existing retail businesses like Prime Now and supporting the Prime programme.
I was the 1st marketing hire in the region and part of the founding team that launched both Prime Now and Prime in Singapore. Delivered key Prime innovations such as ultra-fast 2-hour shipping, cross-border fulfillment of US selection, Prime Video and Twitch Prime. Responsible for building out the marketing, partnerships and merchandising functions to serve all consumer-facing businesses.

I was responsible for demand generation and meeting new customer growth through PPC, CPI and CPA campaigns. This includes co-defining and implementing customer acquisition cost (CAC) metrics as well as attribution models to assess and optimise channel performance for the purpose of demand forecasting. On the digital front, I handled search and social marketing, affiliate management as well as programmatic buying for desktop and mobile. On the offline front, I managed ATL (TVC, print, OOH, events) and BTL (direct mail, trade marketing, roadshows). RedMart was acquired by Lazada (part of Alibaba Group) in November 2016.
1st marketing hire by the VP Marketing, hired initially to establish the offline media, events and partnerships strategy, subsequently taking on the customer engagement role, focusing on both the web and app platforms. I concurrently managed the trade marketing aspects together with the category teams.

Worked with local sales teams to support market entry into the Southeast Asian and Hong Kong market for the GlobalSign brand. Supported all local marketing efforts including SEO/SEM, Facebook and Twitter presence and expo participation in Singapore, Hong Kong and Malaysia. Also trained local marketing teams in Philippines to prepare for launch in their market.
