Strong Roots NYC is a start-up nonprofit organization that provides students in Nepal with opportunities in education. • Philanthropic Strategy: Regularly assesses grantee performance and the impact of funds spent. Works with international partners to forecast need and set fundraising goals accordingly. • Operations Management: Conducts all financial/banking duties for the organization including fundraising strategy. Created all operating documents and protocols for organization. • Stakeholder Engagement: Works closely with partner non-profit organizations in the United States and Nepal to trouble shoot challenges as they arise and maintain support of local community leaders and families as well as financial supporters. • Public Speaking / Presenting: Regularly presents organization’s mission and short-term goals at fundraising events to groups of 30 - 50 people.
