SOURCEBYNET PTE LTD is a third party independent Sourcing agent providing buying services to retailers around the world Key Accomplishments This was a startup organization which was launched in Pakistan as independent third party sourcing agents. As with all startups main focus was to start the revenue generation. I was relocated to Denmark for 8 months to help the Sales team with Home Furnishing and successfully Managed manufacturing of Upholstery Covers for M&S for the first time in their history from outside the United Kingdom. We successfully sourced and shipped Ottomans to direct retailers in the USA from Pakistan. I was the end responsible for all Commercial Activities of the company for the Pakistan Office and worked with Material Areas such as Textiles, Leather and Carpets, MDF, hardwood, metal, glass and natural stone. I was also the Project Leader for Sales in Pakistan and successful orders placed for wooden and stone flooring, Steel and sink combination sink sets and Furniture.

Key Accomplishments I was fortunate enough to be IKEA’s youngest Purchasing Manager in their history. Within my tenure we managed together with the team to grow the revenue generation from the Pakistan Office by 400% and become not only the largest Textile Buying House of the country but also were buying approximately 60% of IKEA’s Global Textile & Leather products worldwide which once again was the largest share-holder country of the IKEA’s textile business. Successfully worked to counter Anti-Dumping implications set by Europe and brought the prices of base product lines down by approximately 32%. My Direct Responsibilities included • Business mapping of the capabilities of the country and its competitive analysis with the Global Competition. • End responsibility for Sourcing, Developing, Negotiating and Quality & Cost Control of all Business Activities IKEA had in Pakistan reporting to the Country Management. • Managing 6 buying teams which each included Buying, logistical and Quality Control Individuals. • Setting up Yearly Budget and Inflation targets for each Buying Team and also the Cost Budget for the office. • Was team member for the Global IKEA Textile Leather and Carpets Business Development Team.

Key Accomplishments Within the few months that I held this position was successful in allocation of expense budgets for the local office expenses.
