In my role, I help lead and drive the development of forward leaning capabilities into Aura's product offerings. The specific charter for Aura Labs is to drive Aura's innovation agenda. As par of that, I am overseeing efforts to further Aura’s development of an industry-first, AI-driven platform that enables predictive, personalized and proactive digital safety experiences for consumers. This innovative platform leverages artificial intelligence, machine learning, and analytics to deliver customized solutions for an individual’s online digital safety — with the aim of making hundreds of millions of people virtually invincible.

As Chief Product and Technology Officer, I oversee all aspects of product management, engineering, information technology, and internal security/risk for RSA's NetWitness business. NetWitness delivers comprehensive and highly scalable threat detection and response capabilities—fueled by our unique unified data architecture. The NetWitness Platform XDR delivers complete visibility combined with applied threat intelligence and user behavior analytics to detect threats, prioritize activities, investigate, and automate response. All this empowers security analysts with better, faster efficiency to keep security operations well ahead of business-impacting threats. NetWitness has a marquis customer list that includes some of the world's largest organizations and governments across all the major vertical sectors (financial institutions, healthcare, manufacturing, retail, oil and gas, consumer goods, telecommunications, etc.).

As Chief Digital Officer for RSA, I'm responsible for leading IT, our Security and Risk Office, and Facilities. I also continue to serve as CTO for the Security business unit, where I oversee RSA Labs, which engages in research and advanced development to provide innovative capabilities to our customers. RSA Labs innovations have led to new offerings for RSA, including the NetWitness IoT Monitor, the Archer Vendor Portal (now part of Archer Engage), and the SecurID Risk Engine Visualization. Across the board, my mandate is to drive the digital journey for RSA, including the standup of new IT systems and processes, our data architecture, our connected flexible workplace strategy, the cloud transformation of our products, and management of digital risk for RSA.

I have the privilege of guiding the technology strategy for the most amazing and trusted brand in cybersecurity! RSA has renowned offerings in Security Monitoring & Analytics (Netwitness Suite), Identity (access/authentication, single-sign, continuous authentication through our SecurID suite), and Governance, Risk & Compliance (through our Archer Platform). I spend most of my time engaged with RSA's customers and partners to understand market needs. I also work closely with our product teams and research lab to determine how RSA can address those needs moving forward.

* Led key technology vision and development for Elastica (acquired by Blue Coat). * Also helped develop market positioning, sales enablement content. * Continuously briefed industry analysts (Gartner, Forrester, 451, SecurOsis, and others) to provide perspectives on the market and technology scope. Elastica is an innovative data science powered Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) vendor that provides organizations with deep visibility and controls over their use of SaaS applications and other Cloud Services through the use of web-scale system design, large-scale data mining, machine learning (both supervised and unsupervised), and natural language processing. In charge of the in-field efficacy of FireAMP (enterprise) and Immunet (consumer) advanced malware protection offerings. These technologies leverage large-scale data mining, statistical machine learning, distributed computing, and cloud-based approaches to help several million customers, ranging from individual consumers to enterprises. Designed and implemented key pieces of the technology, especially the back-end machine learning framework, our generic signature engine (back-end), and our advanced analytics engine using techniques from large-scale data mining and distributed computing. Generally help guide the overall vision of our technology and also work to bolster our intellectual property portfolio. Spearheaded the Sourcefire Chalk Talk Series (http://sourcefire.com/chalktalks) and personally created 100+ videos to educate others on cybersecurity. A large part of my role involves working closely with our sales and marketing teams frequently engaging with the media, presenting at conferences, meeting with customers and partners, and briefing industry analysts. I work closely with the field and spend a considerable amount of time meeting with customers and prospects across all the major regions and industry verticals. In charge of furthering the efficacy of Immunet's core cloud-based security software, including its free cloud antivirus security product, Immunet Protect 2.0 which launched in June 2010 and has been installed by over 650,000 people. Developed key detection technologies utilizing machine learning, generic fingerprinting, and large-scale data mining ("big data"). Analyzed data sets to identify threat landscape trends. Immunet was acquired by Sourcefire.

* Sr. technical leader who designed, developed , and delivered next-gen reputation-based technologies using large-scale data mining & machine learning to improve efficacy of core products. Technology shipped as flagship feature of Norton Internet Security 2010, Norton AntiVirus 2010 & 2011, and Norton 360 ($2B+ annual revenue stream). Tech also shipped in Norton 2011, SEP 12.x under the names Ubiquity & Insight respectively. * Wrote code for key machine learning and data mining algorithms in C/C++, Perl, Java, and Python.
