Asli Bilgin created, launched and ran Amazon's global Software as a Service (SaaS) program. She owned the strategy and execution for new initiatives for AWS partners to build and grow SaaS products on AWS. In this role, Asli oversaw the entire range of SaaS company maturity profiles - from product-launch focused SaaS start-ups to customer growth based, mature SaaS companies. I won this as an individual for the work I did for NASDAQ in my first year at Amazon. Asli Bilgin served as an IT Transformation Lead for Amazon Web Services Professional Services. She focused on large enterprises in the financial services industry, focused mainly on the East Coast. In this capacity, Ms. Bilgin led enterprise DevOps transformation projects that moved workloads onto the cloud platform. She led a wide range of projects that included DevOps automation, IT Transformation, governance, security, and application migration. She created and ran the Financial Services consulting practice through engagement delivery and business development, with revenue and utilization goals. Her work won her the World Wide Professional Services award for Customer Obsession, Amazon's highest leadership principle. She also created and staffed AWS' first Professional Services Global Knowledge Management solution.
Asli Bilgin served as a Practice Area Lead for Slalom Consulting in New York City. At Slalom, she launched New York City's first Azure Cloud practice, as well as Slalom's first Amazon Web Services cloud practice, both with a focus on custom application development and Platform as a Service.
Asli Bilgin led Web Strategy for the Microsoft Developer & Platform Evangelism team for 80 countries in the Middle East & Africa. In this role, she drove future vision, market share and adoption for software development on the web platform through hosters, web startups, and design agencies.
