In addition to my work at anatomiz3D,also carried out product development and design work for Anotomiz3D's parent company,Sahas Softech. Key Responsibilities : Medical: - Medical product design,development and innovation. - Conduct a market survey and identify the need for a solution. - Visit leading doctors and discuss the number of cases and proposed solution to the problem. - Identify the ideal 3D printing technology based on the kind of product being designed. Manufacturing: -Product design forclients with design and 3D printing requirements. - Optimize designs based on the principles of design for additive manufacturing. - Assist 3D scanning team and develop a turntable for 3D scanning. Key Achievements: Medical: - Successfully designed and implemented cranial remodelling helmets for 2 patients within a period of 6 months. - Designed 3 modular types of helmets which can be used for all types of craniosynostosis. - Designed and conducted trials on 3D printed insoles. Manufacturing: - Successfully implemented a turntable for 3D scanning. - Designed and conducted trials with 3D printed sunglasses.
Key responsibilities: - Analyse Assembly line to increase productivity. - Conduct simultaneous motion studies at each station along the heavy engines assembly line to enhance existing processes and workflow. Eliminate the non value added activities and ensure standardization of the solution. - Study the standard operating procedure,pokayoke charts,one point lessons along the assembly line. Tools used: - Work station standardization(WSS) charts. - Mahindra Advanced Production System(MAPS). Key Achievements: - Successfully designed and implemented visual aids and 3S area charts along the entire assembly line which drastically reduced engine rejection at the end of the line. - Conducted a trial with a more cost effective sealant instead of the existing one. - Carried out a study on the how the reduction in diameter of piston liner bolts can save the cycle time by 80 seconds and enhance the productivity.
