I led all business development efforts with agencies and publishers in Spain, oversaw all finance matters, acted as in-house lawyer...plus I was responsible for all those things that nobody typically wants to do. I was also deeply involved in fundraising, liaising directly with potential VC investors and pitching and presenting at diverse events and startup competitions. Backed by 500 Startups and other investors, and with a leadership position in the global Hispanic market, Nativead is a full-stack native advertising platform helping innovative and influential publishers monetize their traffic through native advertising, including via programmatic technology.

Led marketing and business development for the U.S. banking, capital markets and investment management / private equity groups, as well as for the global Latin American practice. Ran the company’s day-to-day business, drafting business plans, setting goals and formulating actions. Led sales and BD efforts by identifying new business opportunities and negotiating and closing strategic partnerships with a number of industry players. Designed the repurposing of the publication, including in particular its digitalization efforts. Revista Española de Capital Riesgo (Spanish Journal of Private Equity and Venture Capital) (www.recari.es) is the first and the leading schorlarly publication in Spanish language focused on private equity and venture capital.
