As the Director of Channel Sales at Sunverge I created the channel sales program from scratch. In this role I also managed our national solar key accounts (ex. Sunpower Corp and Sunrun) as well as our sales and distribution strategy with solar installer partners.
As the Director of OEM channels at Tigo I managed the international roll-out of our sales strategy with solar module manufacturers. I was responsible for the coordination between our internal sales and marketing resources with our channel partners to establish a consistent message and user experience. I defined and executed the one-year plan across Europe, Asia Pacific, and North America. I grew revenue from nothing into a multi-million dollar business.
As the Director of Asia Pacific I reported directly to the CEO of Tigo. I opened our offices in Shanghai, China. I was responsible for building relationships and certifying our technology with the top solar module manufacturers to embed Tigo's technology into their products. I successfully established business relationships with all of the top 10 OEM's and certified 7 of them. During this time I was also asked to open Tigo's Japan and Australia offices. I managed a team across Asia Pacific with employees in China, Japan, and Australia. I was responsible for revenue across all of the APAC region.
In this role I was responsible for the launch of Tigo's solar optimizer product in North America. This was a new product and a new market vertical. I successfully rolled the product out and grew revenue from nothing into a sustainable multi-million dollar annual business in the first year.
I Co-founded Valence Energy, started from our dorm rooms our senior year at Santa Clara. Valence pioneered a unique distributed control approach to building energy efficiency and microgrid controls. The company was acquired by Serious Materials.
