Overseeing the maintenance and continual improvement of the Midas Quality Management System; working with the Plant Managers to develop/improve new Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QC) procedures as required. • Operate to the highest standards of ethics, in accordance with the Midas corporate principles. • Responsible for compliance to the customer requirements, regulations/ legislations pertaining to product like Restriction Evaluation & Authorization of Chemicals (REACH), California Prop 65, Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) & Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) directive 89/86/EEC. • Responsible for liaison with customers in investigating manufacturing / quality related issues (NCRs) and provide feedback to the concerned departments and follow up on corrective / preventive actions (CAPA). • Responsible for the planning, implementation and the maintenance of overall Quality Assurance System at Caltex Oil (Pakistan) Ltd. • Successfully led ISO 9002 accreditation program for Caltex Lube Blending Plant at West Wharf, Karachi • Responsible for performing gap analyses of all documentation in the light of ISO 9002 standard requirements • Part of the Quality Assurance Team which achieved ISO 9002 Certification for Caltex Aviation Facility at the Karachi International Airport and Kemari Oil Terminal by BSI-UK • Implemented ISO 2859-1 inspection standard • Arranged and conducted internal quality audits, prepared non-conformance reports and followed up the corrective / preventive measures • Performed investigations on non-conformances (NCRs) and recommended corrective action to prevent recurrence (CAPA).
