This position was in the Proto-type shop for The Chassis-Controls-Integration Team as an Engineering Technician. A great experience with a really good group of Engineers and Mechatronics Technicians. My main responsibilities were: *Provide guidance and subject matter expertise to other technicians for new component integration. *Proto-type hardware install. Which consisted of electrical and mechanical modifications as needed to facilitate Proto-Type hardware install into both Mule and Production vehicle as well as installation documentation. *Fleet vehicle maintenance. *Logistics support for the Team. Which consisted of coordinating parts,tooling and vehicles shipped to various test site through out the United States. *And various other duties to support Test/Team goals.
*Setup and preparation for physics experiments. *Electro-mechanical maintenance and equipment operation. *Vacume system maintenance and operation. *Cryogenic system maintenance and operation. *Data/experiment and system monitoring via GUI's and various computer softwares. *Records keeping and reporting for all systems related to Cryogenic systems and target operations. *Maintain proper and quality work practices. *Insure good team communication through out experiment process. *Communicate with engineers and experiment team to insure quality of data.
