At the time, majority owned by BNY Mellon with 200 employees and $40bn AUM. Chief Executive Officer Responsible for leading all aspects of Alcentra’s business and investment activities. Chair of the Executive Management Committee and member of the Alcentra Board alongside three independent NEDs and two shareholder Directors. Served as interim CIO Private Credit, directly managing $10bn in European direct lending funds and chaired the Private Credit Investment Committee. Developed a new business strategy for a business in transition, successfully persuading BNY Mellon to invest in the business. Transformed the organisation for improved efficiency and communication. Instilled a team-oriented culture. Brought in new talent across key roles and improved DEIB initiatives including creating a diverse Senior Management Group of 35 people, convening three task forces with a variety of backgrounds, revising recruitment processes, and adding two women to a previously all-male Executive Committee. Successfully managed the sale of Alcentra to Franklin Templeton/Benefit Street Partners.
