Co-engineering lead for the Consumer group. From that group, carved out and led the Product Platform team that was responsible for Plaid Link, our SDK. Led the build out and migration onto both our all-new redesigned Link, and our new server-driven platform for Link. Recruited, interviewed, closed - including 2 years of co-leading our University Recruiting program. Led a series of talks on wine, as well as a somewhat embarrassing slack channel and series of talks called "Ask Judd".
Joined as a Backend engineer, where I first worked on migrating support for our longtail banks, and architected and built our billing system. Led the engineering effort for our first international launch. Founded our Core Services team, built self-healing error recovery into our backend. Tech lead on the Consumer team. Probably still hold a record for number of hackathons participated in without an award.
Joined as part of the founding team as a carve-out from Apartment List. Built our data pipeline, and industry-leading pricing prediction on top of it - both consumer-facing tools, and SEO content. Worked on database performance, full-stack development of our site, and mentoring other web and mobile engineers. Scrum master extraordinaire. Resident expert at SQL trivia and coffee snobbery.
Joined post-series A as a full-stack web engineer. Worked closely with platform to get massive amounts of data into customers' hands, both via various revisions of our dashboard, as well as an automated reporting pipeline that I built out. Partnered with Design to lead Product Management for the launch of our free tier. Built our internal tooling and process for hardware provisioning, and filled in as a Sales Engineer from time-to-time. Lost an extremely impressive number of ping-pong games.
Worked as part of an Oracle consulting team to make Oracle DB actually usable for the newly minted Enterprise Sales (now Google Workspace) team. Architected, developed, supported the CMS used by this team in every region across the globe for provisioning and tracking a variety of enterprise product deployments.
