I oversaw the Los Angeles region and state of Hawaii for General Motors on behalf of MSX International which is a business development outsourcing company that provides services to General Motors, Rolls Royce, Maserati, Alfa Romero (etc) in more than 80 countries. MSXI's deep industry expertise combined with advanced data analytics and custom software solutions improve the performance of automotive dealership networks by increasing revenue, customer retention, reducing cost, and enhancing customer satisfaction. The Service Development Specialist Role was created for General Motors (GM) to support the approximately 4,200 GM Dealers in the US with improving their Service Drive Process. I assist by implementing new/revised service strategies alongside dealership personnel with training and monitoring GM dealers on their service lane process. Service Development Specialist became the center of expertise with the following service lane tools and processes: Service Workbench (SWB) and Online Service Scheduling (OSS). Assist dealers in improving LOF/MPVI cycle times to under an hour Meet defined metric goals for GM dealers within my assigned region (LA) Track metric progression of all GM dealers within Los Angeles, while qualifying and evaluating new method for service strategy implementation Ensure dealer processes are in place to gather local competitive data Ensure proper Business Development Center (BDC) service department integration Interface with District Sales, Service, Parts and Zone management to ensure cross communication of dealer process changes underway and any opportunities for improvement Share best practices, ideas, success stories and analysis techniques with the dealers General Manager, Service Directors/Managers and their teams.
I am currently working on accelerating the world transition to sustainable energy alongside Tesla Inc. I have been trained and certified on the product knowledge of the Tesla model S, X and the brand new 3. I meet with the clients on the day of delivery for their brand new Tesla. I am one of the many mile markers in their journey as a Tesla owner. I introduce the new owners to their vehicle and hold an orientation walking them through the functionality and leisures their car can provide to make life of travel that much easier and safer. After I and the new Tesla owner have established a platform of understanding and confidence with their vehicle, we proceed to the signing of documents, where we go over contracts, vehicle configuration and collecting remaining payment. Right before clients drive off into the sunset in pursuit of new memories and life stories, I assist in any way I can to secure a fulfilling and exceptional delivery experience from our home in Tesla to theirs.
I have been trained and certified on all BMW models from the understanding and use of vehicle features to professional track training on the BMW M240i, M2, M3, M4, M5, M6, X5M and the X6M. I had the privilege to meet with new BMW owners for an orientation over vehicle functions and options. I attended and held events for BMW at colleges and other car events with opposing dealerships. I helped train and support the sales staff, BMW genius (BMW Specialist), and clients over every model and optional packages. Youngest in the company at the age of 18 with no prior work related experience but with the combination of knowledge, love, passion and ambition I was ranked highly alongside my peers. A great privilege to work alongside with BMW.
