Responsible for a team of engineers and QA who create Glu's revenue driving technology SDKs used in all of our titles. This includes advertising, user acquisition tracking, Glu's in-house analytics, and other centralized systems. Additionally, our team partners with other internal groups and participate in designing and creating products that leverage all data and technology across the company in a cohesive, flexible and extendable way to push the technical agenda of the company in an every evolving direction. Other personal responsibilities include: - Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of technical and procedural features, changes and requirements the major platforms in the mobile space (Apple, Google, Facebook) - Coordinating and implementing company-wide technical initiatives where key 'build vs. buy' decisions must be made. - Facilitating cross-company communications and connections on technical issues and initiatives. - Maintaining business and technical relationships with external partners.
Responsible for managing a team of 50 Engineers and QA who primarily work on Android versions of our titles that our company brings to the market. In addition to bringing our titles to Google Play, we also support various other Android marketplaces, such as Amazon AppStore. We also are a group who explores new platforms that come available, such as Facebook Canvas, Windows Mobile, Samsung Gear VR and other new emerging platforms and marketplaces.
While maintaining some engineering workload, I am responsible for overseeing technical processes for our Cross Platform Engineering team. This includes maintaining Engineering Standards for our projects and ensuring on time delivery of product. I am also responsible for ensuring that we constantly are adapting to new technologies and overseeing our ever evolving procedures are updated in an always changing marketplace.
While maintaining an active engineering workload, I am also responsible for overseeing our technical submissions team, maintaining project plans and status, as well as overseeing the engineering porting process of our Android titles.
In the past, worked with J2ME and Blackberry devices. Currently working with Android devices, utilizing the Android SDK and NDK. Also working with multiple marketplaces, such as Google Play and Amazon Appstore. In addition, I am administrating our regions TeamCity implementation as well as the headless build agents responsible for building our android and iOS applications.
