Primary markets include healthcare professionals and patient populations with chronic pain, central nervous system disorders, and orthopaedic injuries. As International Sales Manager for EMEA, I manage the indirect sales channels and our distributor networks for our robotic, neuromodulation / stimulation and software platforms. This includes: - helping our partners to develop optimum sales and clinical support functions - key opinion leader liaison - developing networks, including clinicians, hospital management and healthcare leadership.

Responsible for export of the Bioness Rehabilitation solutions, covering market access, business development, account management, training and development. Key opinion leader liaison. Cross department communication with regulatory affairs, product management and local agents to develop market access. Established and grew sales in mid and high value capital equipment, as well as related consumable items.

Management of UK and Ireland patient and professional user sales. Managing change with distribution partners, plus developing a reseller network and direct hospital sales for consumables and capital sales.

Surgical Synergies was a leading supplier of innovative rehabilitation technologies in Australia and New Zealand. I managed sales in the full portfolio in NSW with customers including Orthopaedic Surgeons, Endocrinologists, Rheumatologists, Pain Specialists, Physio and Occupational Therapists, Hospital Owners and Managers, Professional Sports Teams and players and more. Calling points included operating theatres, rehab gyms, universities and retails outlets. Worked closely with staff sand players at professional sports teams, including the National Rugby team, a high performing rugby league team and an A league soccer team. Devices included capital equipment and fast moving consumable goods. Technologies covered bone stimulation for osteoporosis (Juvent) and fracture healing (Exogen); functional electrical stimulation for movement reeducation and neuromodulation for pain management. I also supported orthopaedic surgeons using visco-supplementation with Osteoartz, an intra-articular hyaluronic acid injection for osteoarthritis of the knee. Revenue sales came from splinting materials, braces and therapy supplies.

The Mater Hospital is a leading private hospital renowned for its quality care and compassion. Delivering post-operative rehabilitation for both in-patients following elective and trauma surgery of the spine, upper and lower limb, as well as intensive outpatient therapy and hydrotherapy for hip and knee joint replacement patients. Proud to have delivered the same high quality care for both elite sports professionals through to the retired, elderly population.

Working as a member of a the multi-disciplinary team in trauma, orthopaedics and musculoskeletal outpatients (including complex trauma & polytrauma) and elective inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation in the following areas: - Hand and Upper Limb Service - Lower Limb Service (including limb and joint reconstruction) - Spinal (Musculoskeletal Outpatients) - Orthopaedic inpatient rehabilitation Acute and chronic pain management including peripheral neuropathic pain, radiculopathies, CRPS. Management with hands on treatment whilst observing biopsychosocial guidelines. Led the lower limb rehab classes for ACL reconstruction, post ankle fracture and hip and knee arthroplasty. Participated in the complex and polytrauma ilizarov and external fixation rehab classes, managing patients with multiple fractures, nerve damage and extensive skin grafting. Completed isokinetic dynamometry testing pre & post-op and at discharge to evaluate outcomes. Participated in the Consultant led clinics: fracture clinic, pre-and post op elective orthopaedics. Participated in diagnostic triage clinics and referred patients on for either consultant assessment for surgical review, or for physiotherapy led rehabilitation. Worked in the hand therapy unit: managing wound care using aseptic technique, removal of sutures, scar management including patients with complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS) and scar sensitivity. Actively participated in regular in-service training including ward rounds and grand rounds, and regularly delivered presentations to junior staff and more senior colleagues. Supervised junior members of staff to set objectives, monitor progress and evaluate development.

Primary care service offering direct access for patients. Assessment, diagnosis and management of acute sporting injuries to the upper limb, lower limb and spine. Helping athletes competing up to national level. Autonomous management of both routine and complex injuries. Close liaison with general practitioners and fracture clinic.
