• Managed a team of 16 DevOps and Release Engineers in Milpitas and St. Petersburg, Russia. • Designed and implemented advanced CI/CD solution for Kohls.com eCommerce re-platform using Jenkins, JBhave, GIT, Gerrit, Nexus/Maven, JIRA, VMware vCloud and custom shell scripting. • Designed and managed the entire release process for Kohls.com; supporting daily releases to production. • Transformed existing engineering teams into our CI/CD solution. • Contributed hands on troubleshooting and development of tools.

Development Manager • Led the engineering of cloud-based Device Certificate Service (PKI) in C, which was responsible for issuing 300 million certificates for Symantec customers. • Led the development team of a web based deployment tool (Ruby) to move from manual to automated code deployment into production and QA environments on Solaris, Linux, and Windows for VeriSign Security Services 35 unique Authentication and SSL projects. o Integrated test automation to the production code deployment further reducing deployment times. o Orchestrated the deployment of Virtual Machines using SOAP interface with Virtual Center. • Acted as Scrum Master during sprints and planned release in iterations. Release Engineering/Lab Manager • Managed a team of 5+ Engineers located in Mountain View and Bangalore. • Supported 215 Development and QA Engineers in various global locations. • Developed the process for packaging and customization strategy to support automated deployments in production. • Implemented continuous deployment integrating with Hudson. • Implemented monitoring and automated system build infrastructure in the lab environments using Puppet and Ruby. • Successfully migrated over 2,000 systems from one datacenter to another without impacting any ongoing releases. • Responsible for 2,000+ systems of SSL, PKI and Authentication services globally for VeriSign Security Services Engineering. • Architects SSL, PKI and Authentication testing environments with collaboration from VP’s, Directors, Project Managers, Network Security, Engineering and Production Services. • Responsible for the Capital Engineering budget of around $750k for VeriSign Security Services. • Responsible for scanning, patching and maintaining systems to satisfy FISMA and PCI compliance. • Active in VeriSign community groups, led the Tools and Environments sub-committee.

• Team Lead of Release Engineering • Wrote Perl and Bash scripts to automate QA deployments and configurations • Troubleshot build and test environment issues. • Deployed, configured and troubleshot web servers, application servers, database servers, LDAP’s, VPN devices and cryptography devices. • Collaborated with PM, Networking and operations teams to lead projects. • Led implementation of VMWare in Security Services that reduced physical hardware of 500+ physical machines resulting in widespread implementation of virtualization.

• Developed three order-entry e-commerce sites for leading salon chains such as Supercuts, JC Penney’s and Great Clips based on JSP, Java Servlets and MS SQL. • Responsible for procurement of all IT infrastructure (approx. $100,000 annual budget). • Developed and administered company-wide network security systems based on Checkpoint software. • Involved in all aspects of company’s information technology systems including Oracle 8i database, MS Exchange e-mail system, corporate Internet access, telecommunications system, voicemail system and desktop computers. • Assisted in managing the physical reconstruction of data networks for 40,000 square foot corporate headquarters.
