• Managing the drive unit commodity with a prime focus on the procurement of drive unit components for the Semi, 4DU and Cybertruck. • Identifying new high potential suppliers on a global basis by evaluating their business proposals, based on core competencies, competitive positioning using industry cost models and value analysis to present recommendations resulting in cost savings, avoidance or containment. • Responsible for collecting and analyzing supply chain data to gauge its efficiency and propose system design improvements by monitoring current category market conditions, technology roadmaps and identifying supply/demand challenges and opportunities.

• Managing the Gen 2 Universal Mobile Connector (UMC) commodity and responsible for identifying, quoting, negotiating and resourcing 100+ components of the UMC North America and Europe variant, which accounts for 56% of the procurement cost of UMC. • Developed a technical understanding of the commodity and benchmarked the UMC components using regression models, should cost analysis and productivity cycle time to identify opportunities for commercial cost reductions. • Generated RFQ’s and analyzed quotations from 40+ global suppliers, validated their DFM’s and made sourcing recommendations based on current spend and quote packages from new suppliers. • Achieved annual savings of over $5M through resourcing and supply base consolidations, fact-based strategic negotiations, leveraging economies of scale, market analysis and forecasted future trends of the UMC North America and Europe components. • Worked collaboratively with the Global Supply Manager in dual sourcing the UMC TLA and in ramping up the capacity of the existing supplier to meet increasing demand on the UMC. • Influenced design decisions on the UMC components using engineering know-how and procurement data such as costs, lead time and vendor specific offers. • Supported the Global Supply Manager in collecting NDA’s, GTC’s and PPA’s and ensured all commercial terms are agreed and documented. • Evaluated the sampling, production and tooling PO requests from suppliers and issued PO’s in accordance with it.

• Monitored warehouse operations including inbound orders, outbound orders, dispatch and inventory management. • Evaluated the quality of inbound commodities including recycled computer & electronic hardware and implemented proper packaging procedure across global suppliers and saved 33% of cost associated with damaged goods. • Ensured the quality of outbound materials by controlled sorting and inspection procedures, resulting a 4% increase in profits. • Reduced the downtime of operational activities by 6.5 hours by executing workforce strategies, by leveraging analytics and process flowcharts, yielding a 26% increase in operational productivity of the warehouse. • Gathered operational requirements and coordinated with IT team to build and implement the Razor (ERP) system. • Improved the overall inventory accuracy by 32% by analyzing the inventory data and conducting research on errors, by preparing a corrective action plan for anomalies and developing effective projects by root-cause analysis. • Worked extensively to maintain R2 and PPE compliance and improved system capabilities and business processes.

• Managed clients such as Clarks, Bugatti and Hush Puppies with scheduling their production based on factory capacity and resources availability. • Reviewed the WIP sheet to plan on the inventory levels worth $25M and to allocate them as per the production schedule. • Analyzed factory capacity loading prior to monthly buys and directed future PO placements accordingly, which reduced line shortages by 10%. • Coordinated with 70+ vendors to ensure on-time arrival of fully finished leathers and prepare them for grade assortment, to ensure the production lot adhered to quality standards set by clients. • Managed work centers, resources, factory/shipping calendars to account for CNY & other downtimes for over 70+ vendors.

• Analyzed their full range of 250+ leather enzymes and chemicals and narrowed it down to the ones that might aid effluent reduction. • Persuaded the leather production process using these enzymes, which reduced to about 8% of the industrial effluents.

• Documented the production process for handbags and wallets categories. • Reported on the best possible ways to increase per day production for both these categories, by value stream mapping.
