I moved to Italy with my husband in 2017 to enjoy a simpler, more sustainable way of life. We were lucky to find the house we live in, fully rebuilt using the original materials and to the highest eco standards. We rent out the ground-floor of our home as a holiday apartment which has allowed me to become involved in sustainable tourism. It has been really insightful for me to learn about the renewables which power our home and apply my own personal sustainable living standards for our guests. We have a Green Tourism Gold Award. We have recently joined Tourism Declares A Climate Emergency and I'm working on our own Climate Action Plan.
