• Optimized the welding parameters (such as base current peak current and frequency) for better deposition and corrosion resistance of GTAW welded 304 grade stainless through linear regression analysis. • Analyzed the depth to width ratio and area of the weld by Strauss weld expert and performed polarization studies by Tafel extrapolation method using Leica and Sequencer software. • Compared the response of Conventional GTAW and Pulsed GTAW process and suggested optimal process parameters for better corrosion resistance.

• Developed Tantalum and Niobium coatings on Mild steel by Cold spray coating process. • Performed Potentiodynamic polarization studies to evaluate the corrosion resistance of Tantalum and Niobium coatings in sea water environment (3.5 wt% NaCl). • Micro structural characterization of cross section of the coatings before and after polarization study: SEM and Optical Microscope.
