Responsible for coordinating a global staff of 100+ spanning marketing, product, design, engineering, supply chain, NPI, manufacturing, and field assembly to develop and launch building products that were substantially better, faster, cheaper than market. Defined and implemented processes to support product delivery and operations and developed internal, first-in-the-industry tools to support the product releases.
In an effort to improve project execution company-wide, I was promoted to a senior leader position to launch a program/project management organization for end-to-end project delivery of our senior living facility market. This included managing a team of technical program managers and establishing project management best practices and tools to support global, cross-functional teams execute projects from concept to closeout. I also led cross-functional workshops and gap analysis to drive business process development and improvement across the building platform delivery value stream.
As an early member of the Engineering team, I helped scale the Building Engineering Operations framework and team from 10 to 100+ worldwide by developing and implementing growth strategies, establishing systems, project management processes, and tools to manage new build projects and R&D initiatives. I also managed a team of Engineering Project Managers responsible for all new-build projects and R&D initiatives, as well as reduced engineering costs, improved engineering work product quality and speed of design by developing internal products and business process frameworks for the organization.
Managed project lifecycle from inception of sales through permitting, engineering, pre-fabrication, and construction turnover for sophisticated mechanical building system projects ranging in total construction costs from $5M to $20M+. Co-developed both standardized and custom MEP product solutions for an array of customers and owned the business development and technical sales process for each of the projects I was responsible for, securing over 70% of sales pipeline business generated.
