I oversaw several parts of Google's core advertising business: 1. Infrastructure for Search & Shopping Advertising 2. Ads Quality -- Targeting for Google Search Ads -- Bidding for Google Search Ads 3. Ads syndication efforts 4. All aspects of advertising for new O&O surfaces like GMail, Discover etc. These areas are responsible for and the backbone of a big part of Google's overall revenue and growth and I am fortunate to work with some amazing people who are responsible for building and running some of the most innovative, impactful and business critical systems in the World.
For 3+ years I oversaw Google's Publisher Ad Platforms business and Display Advertising Infrastructure. Products I managed included: Google AdMob (https://www.google.com/admob/) Google Ad Manager (https://admanager.google.com/home/) Google AdSense (https://www.google.com/adsense/) The infrastructure teams I managed were responsible for ad serving & collection, targeting & audience infrastructure, indexing, experimentation etc.
