The Staff Construction Project Manager is the primary leader in the field, and is directly accountable for the safety, financial performance, and team development on site. The Project Manager will lead the project team in the construction of the entire project. This position is responsible for building and maintaining a strong relationship with the subcontractors, stakeholders, architects, and engineers.  Participate with the Project Director and Purchasing in the development of a project budget  Maintain a thorough understanding of the Tesla contract construction provisions etc.  Oversee the pay request process  Monitor project costs and cost reporting  Implement and monitor training of all staff personnel  Monitor project labor  Review and approve material and equipment needs  Assist Purchasing in bidding projects  Lead the project quality process  Develop, schedule and lead project close-out processes  Develop and maintain effective relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and Tesla stakeholders to represent Tesla core values

The primary purpose of the Facilities Project Manager position is to represent Facilities Planning, Design and Construction when providing project management expertise in management of one or more assigned projects. Assist in the management of complex major and manages less complex capital facility projects. Possess knowledge of construction processes, product application and building/infrastructure component assembly. Under general direction, demonstrate project management skills in the management of integration/coordination of project elements, delegation of activities in the management of stakeholders, scope management, time management, cost management, quality assurance, managing changes priorities and communication management in the generation, collection, dissemination, storage and ultimate disposition of project information. Assures compliance with, and adheres to, current institutional and industry standards.

Primary purpose of the Superintendent position is to manage MDACC REF O & M personnel and outsource any necessary work to operate, maintain and support laboratory operations, animal housing, mechanical systems, office buildings and assigned areas during normal operations and crisis conditions. -Managed a staff of 12 plus skilled craftsmen in various trades, such as Plumbers, Instrumentation, HVAC mechanics, Utility Station Operator, and Physical plant technicians. - Managed building day to day operation and maintenance and ensured customer service satisfaction thru equipment reliability and prompt attention to requested service. - Provide Standard Operation Procedure for all utility system. - Provide all necessary training to troubleshoot system problem and perform work safely. - Work and help to develop “best practice” with other departments. Meet department’s management and service objectives while assisting in obtaining new business through interpersonal skills and surpassing customer expectations for work product. Interact extensively with customers, answering questions and recommending products and solutions that meet their needs.

My position as the “Principal Project Manager” entailed establishing contracts, value engineering, project budgeting project scheduling, managing and supervising the various trades required to complete the scope of work as well as hiring and firing personnel. Those trades included HVAC, Electrical and Plumbing crew, Roofing and water proofing crew, masonry team, Sheet metal ductwork installation crews, Test & Balance crews, Heavy Equipment and Rigging crews, etc.
