The effort replaced the existing vendor solution with a fully configurable planning workbooks, and analytics for Demand Forecasting, and a rich client for pricing. • This new architecture resulted in increased velocity in projects and systems deployment (30-40% decrease delivery time) and substantially reduced total cost of ownership (50%+ reduction in support headcount and 50+% reduction in hardware costs).
• Managed a product owner team working with internal operations and distributors to assess capabilities, and defined a 24-month roadmap to improve e-commerce solutions, including Jointly Managed Inventory, that were bought-off by senior internal stakeholders and VPs. • Managed the xBI effort to do a proof-point for demand analytics, including data engineering. The program involved collaboration with Microsoft define the first version of MS Analysis Services to meet enterprise needs, and influence Microsoft's product roadmaps.
