Wen Temitim's past jobs
At StackPath, I have the pleasure of leading the various engineering teams in building a globally distributed edge compute platform. That includes core development, platform architecture, network engineering, systems engineering, security and platform services (our customer facing engineering and support teams). I have a passion for distributed infrastructure, hardware, and software design, but fundamentally believe that our employees are our greatest asset and those fine folks are the secret to why we will do great things.
At Softlayer, I led Datacenter Engineering and helped build one of the four largest public clouds. My responsibilities included datacenter, backbone, network and systems design and post IBM acquisition, worked with various IBM teams to help evolve IBM cloud. I also led architecture and procurement activities within SoftLayer to drive down unit costs and help IBM cloud grow. My passion was in hardware design and driving scale.
