I’m heading up recruiting here at SocialSurvey. We are in startup mode, and rapidly transitioning into hyper-scale growth. Along with passive sourcing and full life cycle recruiting for our amazing teams, I'm also helping initiate and implement events and programs, like our Tri-Valley Tech Meetup and our 30 day check-in, that help drive external visibility and interest, and strengthen our internal team and communications. I was part of a small recruiting team at an autonomous car startup providing Full-Life Cycle Recruiting, as well as extensive passive sourcing. I supported Engineering (Front-End, Backend, QA, Mobile apps), Data Science (Deep Learning, Computer Vision, Navigation Engineers, etc.) and our Product teams. Driving end to end recruiting from intake with the the hiring managers, gathering requirements, posting jobs live, managing incoming applications and employee referrals, performing passive sourcing (via sources like Github, Google searches, bumper2bumper program, Linkedin, patents & publications, etc.), as well as providing an excellent candidate experience for both passive and active candidates. Thriving in a fast paced, high energy environment, I interacted directly daily with our Directors, VPs and CTO. We experienced explosive growth...tripling our staff within the last year. I searched for Functional Subject Matter Experts (cpa's, controllers, auditors, etc.), as well as seasoned Product Managers with specific Financials and Accounting expertise who also had experience bringing a product to market or had a deep understanding of the sdlc. Worked directly and collaborated with my hiring managers to provide a high-level of client service, as well as passive sourcing and full life-cycle recruiting for the Core Financial and Revenue Product Management teams. Leveraged boolean searches, social media, interest groups, events and employee referrals to supplement my searches and drive activity and interest. Partnered with Talent Marketing to create tools and leverage brand strategy. Reported on weekly metrics. Official Workday Social Ambassador.
Sourced and managed passive candidate pipeline for the Mobile, Web and Revenue Engineering teams. Used various methods, resources and tools to identify, reach out to and connect with elite engineering talent. Focus is always on follow up, follow through, urgency, consistency and a positive candidate experience. My role involved partnering closely with the backend recruiters, as well as a direct relationship with hiring managers and the engineers on the teams that I was hiring for. I also involved myself and provided recruiting presence at Android Meetups and other networking/social/tech talk events.
